An Outstanding Program with Excellent Facilities

At America's Camp, children experience a complete summer camp program filled with fun and excitement, at the site of Camp Danbee. The traditional opening and closing campfires, songs and cheers, new friends and lasting memories highlight an exciting week. Campers may sail, windsurf and water-ski on the spring-fed lake, swim in the heated pool and play sports on beautifully manicured fields and courts. There are opportunities to make creative projects in the art and wood studios and to participate in dance, gymnastics and theater arts.

Professional Staff and Individual Attention

America's Camp offers a safe and structured program, where families can be assured that children are in the care of the country's finest camp directors and their most seasoned and dedicated staff. The camper to staff ratio of better than 2:1 ensures lots of individual attention.

The entire staff of sensitive, mature professionals provide fun, laughter and great instruction. They are available, as needed, to assist campers with the healing process. In addition, trained Grief Support Facilitators offer the children the opportunity to tell their stories, express their feelings and be supported in a tender and gentle way. Optional prayer services are available for children of different faiths.

The staff includes a physician, a board certified psychiatrist, chaplains and registered nurses as part of the camp community.

America's Camp Makes You Feel Right at Home!

The food is great!
The menu offers a variety of meals that appeal to children. There is plenty of wholesome and nutritious food and many choices, including vegetarian alternatives.

Comfortable, Modern Cabins
Campers sleep in spacious cabins, with indoor plumbing and electricity. Cabins house eight to ten campers and three staff. Boys and girls stay in separate cabins on separate parts of the campus.

Transportation
Round-trip transportation is provided free of charge from central meeting points in the tri-state region on air-conditioned coach buses. All buses will be chaperoned by America's Camp Staff.

Communication
Families may call to speak to the directors at any time during the week. A password-protected America's Camp web site will be available to view photographs of children in action at camp.
